“Let’s work together to design a strategy that will make a long-term impact for all those found at the core of your sport property!”
I’m Andrei Angelescu, a direct and digital sport marketing consultant, with rich international experience. My personal vision is to improve the lives of as many people as possible and from the age of 16 I started to work towards this objective. Since then, sport proved to be the most powerful tool that I could use to make the biggest impact.
About me…
At the age of 18, I took upon the Marketing Manager role at FC Fortuna Poiana Câmpina, in the second Romanian division. This made me was the youngest member of the decision board of a professional football club in Romania.
My passion for sports was at first exercised through journalism as I started to write for multiple sport websites in Romania from a very young age and I collaborated with Gazeta Sporturilor, the biggest sport newspaper in Romania, covering multiple football matches from lower divisions as photojournalist.
I strongly believe in the young people’s personal development through non-formal education. As a result, I was involved in multiple projects with several NGOs such as: Leaders, Club LMT or Youth Academy Romania.
Because I wanted to experience an international environment and step out from my comfort zone, I left my home country for the UK, where I studied a 4-year long BSc Marketing degree at University of Southampton.
In the past year, I had the chance to work with various sport organisations, such as FIFA, London Sport, Palace for Life and Uniti pentru Mihai. My work with them is highlighted in the ‘My Work’ section.

At the moment…
I am working on implementing the Volunteers project for UEFA EURO 2020 in Bucharest, Romania, a programme that will produce a radical shift in Romanian’s perception about sport and volunteering.
